Kiss The Rain

Do you think that I could kiss the rain?
Could we chase something good until we catch it?
Or should I wait for the day,
Even though the sun is far too bright?
Would you help me to chase the night instead?
Or does the darkness make you sad?
Would you catch the sun for me,
And put it next to the moon?
Just so I won’t have to see the glare or gloom again?
Would you help me keep my balance on the line,
Even though everyone else has leapt their own way?
Or would you push me because you’re tired of keeping me steady?
If I tried to catch the drops, would you turn off the tap?
Or would you smile and help me?
Would you help me kiss the rain?
