The window left cold and opened
For the red robin for her morning call
The cheep cheep, of her tiny vocals
Myself left wondering

Does she feel alone?
In the big wide world
Does she feel scared?
Fending for herself
Does she feel lonely?
Having no one by her side

Is it the way we all live
Not knowing what the day will bring
Not knowing If today is your last
If we know what will be ahead of us
Why do we try and still figure it out
