It’s hard to explain
This feeling this pain
No one understands how his song comforted me
How his dance set me free
With his magical smile
It hurt me a while
But June 25th a blessing a Burden
This man fell down and flew past the curtain
To Never land..
He fled the cruel names the accusations the embarresment
He fled the inhumane the torment and remained resilient
On June 25th 2009 I walked passed lockers filled with tear filled girls all in a line
phones held up blaring melodies with meaningful words that strengthened the mind
But it was when one girl hid herself in her locker and let the tears run
That I began to sort of understand what had begun
The magical man had cast his last spell
Was it to leave us in hell or hide in a shell
It wasn’t any such a thing he died for our well being
There is a place in our heart and it is called love
Let it shine brighter than tomorrow for our king above
