Off into the tranquil hour of night
For nothing obtrudes with the fulgent moon
Where every one orb illuminates light
And the winds whisper a melodic tune
The trees palpitate like hale earthquakes
As the cold air caresses its broad bark
The urban darkness begins to dilate
As the stillness of the night becomes dark
The owls hoot as agilely as air
While the animal’s lapse off to sleep
Now I say I must warn you to beware
Now’s the time to uncontrollably weep
‘cause the angelic night will soon be gone
And in time the moon will too be withdrawn
