The wild wind strips the trees bare,
Frost is swept across the land with care,
Winter's scent is in the air.
Autumn's leaves are blown around,
Active animals are nowhere to be found,
Twisted twigs are scattered across the ground.
Through the mysterious forest, tall trees stand,Where snowflakes are falling across the land, Placed by Mother Nature's gentle hand.
Long, translucent lakes, so cold they begin to freeze, The colours of autumn fade out in a breeze, The sun, is finally at ease.
Claps of violent thunder break out into the night, Birds fly south in the shape of a kite,
Winter is steady, silent and white.
