Let Me Lend You My Hand.

The roughest of roads,
The most brutal of seas,
That tumultuous ride through the journey of life,
If your silences go unheard,
If your tears remain damp,
I will be there my darling,
Let me lend you my hand.
For I love you, I do, I know little more,
So why wait at the threshold?
Let us break down the door.
Along the way, let me dry your tears,
Awaken your smile,
Abandon your fears.
Take my hand, for warmth in the cold,
For courage lest you be meek,
Let us jump, let us laugh, let us dance
Hand in hand, we are young, my girl, we are free.
If life be an ocean,
If life be a track,
Let’s take it together and
Never look back.
For you have stolen my heart,
You have taken my breath,
I offer my hand because
It’s all I have left.
