You were once the person i knew best,
I knew I'd love you 'til the day I rest. The day you lied but told the truth
was the beginning of the terrible proof.
That you're not the person you claim to be;
How was I unable to see?
You were fun, caring, lively and true
But that was only the mask to make me fall for you.
You're not the person I believed you are
Now I'm lost like a far away star.
An identity is what makes you, you.
But a mistaken identity will hurt not only me but you.
