Legend Of The Bigger Bears

Islah ran as fast as she could through the thick scrub of the forest. The sunlight was minimal, which made a below freezing day even colder. Her heavy coat and warm tracksuit pants kept the chill of the cold winter air away from her skin, although, her boots made quite a ruckus through the deep layer of foliage she was running through. She could hear the beastly bear-shaped creature gaining on her, so she tried to duck behind a large tree. As the creature approached the tree, Islah could feel her heart beating in her throat. She heard the beast stiffing around, then heard it's loud foot fall fade into the dark forest. She left while she still could; she had a gut feeling he was going to come back. As soon as she got home she locked all the doors. It was a lot bigger then a bear, but Islah didn't know what it could have been. She heard the bushes outside rustling. Adrenaline running through her veins she left the house immediately, got into her car and drove away. She let out a sigh of relief half way down the road. Suddenly, a giant bear head appeared on her wind screen. She screamed and braked as hard as she could. The car hurled itself into a strong forward flip and rolled onto its side. Islah was unharmed, apart from the few scratches she had on her neck, face and arms. She discretely crawled out of the car and ran up the road. She hid behind a sign, holding onto a metal pole. All of a sudden, the pole was pulled straight out of the ground, and one of the many giant creatures rested Islah in its big hairy arms. Islah wasn't scared anymore. The creature wasn't going to hurt her, she could feel it. The next morning Islah woke in a cave, the giant bear-like monsters where surrounding her. One of the older bears handed Islah a pear. She ate it all up before anyone had time to take it away from her. Now a fairly brave looking bear rose to his feet and spoke with a tremendously deep voice
"We will not harm you, we just need you to help us and we will help you in return"
He then began to go on about who they were and how they lived. They needed Islah's help to rebuild their land. The humans or as they called them "hunters" had taken all of their food away. The bears ate the trees, and the hunters would take the trees. One day they would take their cave to, and then they would kill the bears. Islah agreed to help the bears; in return, the bears would protect her from trouble. Islah Protested at many tree farming plants. She rounded up many people to help her protest. They helped a lot. Many of the factories ran out of business, because Islah sent around flyers saying that the tree farming industries where killing out local wildlife, and soon, there won’t be any left. No one would buy anything from the factories and after a while, they went bankrupt. The bears where ecstatic about Islah's help. The bears remain living deep in the forest of Hinu-Hinu Lah, Where noone has disturbed them since. Islah now lives with the Bear who bring her fresh fruit to eat day after day. The forest grew back after a while, and now the bears and Islah have plenty to eat. They will live happily ever after, and the legend of Islah will live on in their hearts forever more.
The End.
