My Baby Sister

My baby sister is beautiful and small,
her eyes as blue as day,
her smile can brighten up a hall,
her nose is so cute I must say.

When she laughs it fills up a room,
when she cries it makes it dull,
we don't like when the room has gloom,
so we make her have fun.

When she wiggles around on the floor,
she looks so very helpless,
we feel like we should open the doors,
and shoo away the darkeness.

When she eats she gets very distracted,
she plays with things that make noise,
when she does this becomes an attraction,
she likes all her toys.

You wouldn't understand my story of my little sister,
she is very special to me,
I am her protector.

She has a place in this world,
like all the others,
she tries to learn word by word,
but it still comes out in a muddle.

Well this is my baby sister,
a very special girl,
she will be a smart woman,
and I'll be there to watch it all.
