I am a ulysses butterfly,
I smell things with my feet
Landing gently on pink flowers
I suck sweet nectar for my treat
Seen from miles and miles away,
As my wings are vibrant blue
I live below the rainforest canopy
Away from pesky predators - there are just one or two
There's birds and flying foxes
Who would like to take a bite
Frogs and slithering snakes
Can give me quite a fright
To hide from all these creatures,
I rest my wings and curl up tight
I am camouflaged right now
For my blue wings are out of sight
