I can feel it on my face, death
Heroic young children coming out to fight for our land.
Bravery
Fearless young kids with so much to look forward to in life. Jumping in front of bullets to save the old and fragile.
Absolute bravery.
Terror while you sleep.
You have no trust in anyone.
You can hear the loud screams of the dying.
You wish you could help them out but it is most likely a trap.
That’s what my brother discovered.
Running out to help the injured.
To his surprise three gun shots.
Three brutal shots to the head.
More screaming
This time it is mine
I am still haunted by the ghosts of the deadly world war.
