The gun, the car
The house and the road.
The first two the course
The second two the place
My pain, your pain the end product
If I said your pain was nowhere as
Bad as mine, I would be lying
If I said I can’t stand
The way you left
It’s the truth, you had a choice
If you said you can’t stand it
It’s the truth, he didn’t
If you said I miss you
It’s the truth
If I say my heart is still broken
It’s the truth
If you said it, I would say yes
All our friends ask why,
We say nothing
If our families ask what’s wrong
We would both cry…cry like a fountain
When our heart sank
It sank and sank till it sank no-more
