When your by yourself, and theres nothing you need to hide
are we the same person we see on the outside.
Would you teach an imaginary class,or signal a war alarm
poor the tea for the guests or bandage up an arm.
Wander through the backyard, when no one is around.
lost in your own world where you can never be found.
Where secret agents never rest, and explorers never fail.
detectives always solve the case and hunters always prevail.
The table is like a fort under attack
'Thud' of grenades, silent deadly booms
Spy mobile with switches, crisp, clear, clacks. Enters the dangerous lair of an older sisters room.
And when the wind howls through the lungs of the trees and the blanket seas get rough,
do you peg up the giant sale or do you say you've had enough
So have we really grown out of the make believe or is that just what we say
cause when no one else is around who knows how we spend our day.
