Dogs barking
Tearing through the silence of midnight
People yelling
Hoping it will be alright
Wind screeching
Leaves doing a wild dance
Me and you in the darkness
holding hands
The moon hides, refuses to help
The stars just laugh and cry and yelp
Thats when I see the cat
It stands on the brick way with out a care
Like its pretending no ones here
Its eyes just staring into the darkness
so still and emotionless, yet so fearless
Then the cat leaps
Its black fur glimers
Just like the ocean it shimmers, shimmers
I stare breathlessly
For that cat come here been me......
