I sit...stare...wishing...waiting,
The same question circling my mind,
I don’t understand,
This pain is formidable.

I sit...stare...wishing...waiting,
My heart has crumbled to the floor,
Turned to dust,
Should I be feeling guilty?

I sit...stare...wishing...waiting,
Watch my world disintegrating,
You were my life...now gone,
I don’t want this broken heart.

I sit...stare...wishing...waiting,
Waiting for the day this pain is gone,
You took the love and I took the blame,
You left me sitting, staring, wishing, and waiting for my world to end.
