Unnoticed Light

She slips through the door unnoticed,
Her white dress hung just above her knees,
The air was crisp and refreshed,
The sky as just she pleased.
Her feet kissed the clear morning dew,
That beaded on the grass,
Her thoughts raced and reached out vast.
As she ran the wind showed her no mercy,
Its cold bitter touch made her breath grow slow,
The trees blew softly left and right,
Her eyes watched as the sun started sharing soft light.
As her feet grew numb and damp the sun rose higher,
She reached the place where she felt most peace,
Where she could see nature waking from its sleep,
The beautiful sight could overwhelm her and make her weep.
When her tears hit the cool dirt she closed her eyes,
In one graceful moment she murmured her good byes
When she reached to the sky she was granted one wish,
She didn't wish sorrow nor bliss.
The light collected her up-stretched self
Then she rose to the heavens,
Unnoticed.
