As the tear fell from my face
I knew this was the end
I tried so hard to fight, to attack
as I could not defend.
I lay there crippled on the pavement and
crawled up into a ball.
As I saw the towering figure standing stout, shadowed and tall.
I would have sold my soul to live another day,
To take revenge on my murderer, to make him dearly pay.
Wherever I go to - heaven or hell
For the life I had that I took for granted.
