Jumping My Heart Beat One By One

Spinning and twirling and leaping inside,
I wish I could find some place to hide,
Jumping and thumping my heart wishes to beat,
A tune that matches the sound of the grand prix.
Whistling but tearing my throat feels like dust,
I wish I could find you in this grey and black dusk,
It is my fear, my laughter, my tear,
But laughter it is that catches my ear.
Zig- zagging, crossing, a double flip tuck,
What makes my eyes light up and up
Tis’ true and shady the big oak tree,
Shades my heart of damage from thee.
The sun will always come to find me,
But I will always find what that means,
Tis, what I see and beat the drum
Your jumping my heart beat one by one.
