A human is a human
we all possess equal rights

I'm stuck out here on the sidewalk
and will remain for many nights

It's time to leave that sidewalk
and to seek out all that's fair

Many people lack in sight
sight for the world out there

While the world is spinning round
careless people stand

While others trip and stumble
instead of hand in hand

We've reached a new beginning
the despised are now the equal

And while the world is spinning round
our lives are now so peaceful
