Farewell Friend

Up high in the clouds, hidden in the sky.
A sad sob heard, silent tears won't dry.
Quiet whispers, a last good bye.
He'd not come back, his friends would cry.
His voice not heard, his laughter now ends.
His jokes have paused, our hearts would mend.
Memories replay, they'll never fade.
His time worth while. Now at rest, he's laid.
Don't fret dear angel, I'll not forget,
The first time you smiled when we first met.
