Cancer – What is it? Do you know anyone that has had cancer?
Can you imagine coming home to find your mum and dad staring into space and not answering you. You just want to say things that have nothing to do with the fact that your parents are ignoring you.
They’re sitting next to you is your parents and they are trying to tell you something but you don’t know what they are going to say. Then you get the sad news that your mum has CANCER and you don’t know what to do. You start to feel bad for your parents and then yourself. You lose control, and run to your room and slam your door shut.
All the questions I want to ask
What did she do wrong to deserve this illness?
What is going to happen if she doesn’t get better?
Will Mum still be able take me to play sport?
I come out of my room and give my parents the biggest cuddle I have ever given them and tell them both that I love them so much.
No matter what happens in the future with this horrible illness I promise that I will do everything I can to help my mum.
I hope the doctors make you feel better mum
