Just To Be Normal

As my love ones die,
i still manage to stay alive,
i guess this is part of being a vampire,
never getting old,
moving from town to town,
but never once, making a human friend,
I always try hard,
but i always seem to feel the thirst,
it never goes away,
but the pain of my victims stays with me,
there isn't a day that goes by, that i wish i wasn't this monster,
i'd give anything just to be normal again.
