Can't They See?

She sits waiting,
Her world being torn apart,
Separated in two,
Because of people she loves,
They can’t agree,
Which makes her sad,
They argue and banter,
Never stopping to hear reason,
It makes her sad,
Her would caves in,
Changing to darkness,
In a world so bright,
Shrouded by decision,
She wants it all over,
For this to end,
To not have to choose,
To leave this horrible time,
To go to the future,
Where both are friends,
And she doesn’t have to
Choose.
Can’t they agree,
She knows friends drift apart,
But can’t they see,
They are breaking her
Heart.
In a world so bright,
Darkness takes over,
Killing any hope she has of friendship,
Her world is being torn apart,
She sits waiting for her world to explode,
Hoping they get the message,
Can’t they just stop fighting,
Cant they see,
They are breaking her heart.
