Let’s go across the story bridge,
A whole new world is waiting for us there.
Its different to the world we live in today,
innocence is sweet and the aged is rare.
Childhood is eternal and fun is every day.
Imagination has no limits.
The Fairies flutter fleetly overhead,
as the flowers waltz with the wind.
The Fawn frolic freely lead,
and the troubles have all thinned.
Illusions of our fantasy,
There is so much more here for us to see
The Fairy folk welcome you,
into their house where there are fun things to do.
Build cubby houses of fern fronds
and create leaf boats to sail in the ponds.
Have a picnic in a garden of roses
and absorb all that this land proposes.
The mice dance at the rise of the moon.
The swallows and spring tails twitter a tune,
Listen to the hedge-cricket’s song,
come dance and sing along.
The time has come to lay down,
All snug and warm in a soft bed of thistledown.
We have mystical and magical dreams,
But we desire to awake, because this world isn’t as wondrous as it seems
The crock of gold awaits us at the end of the rainbow,
Across the wondrous story bridge we must go,
For now, the Journey has come to an end,
I wish we could come back and visit someday
The time has come and we must descend…
Away.
