Just because I don't see
doesn't mean that I'm blind,

Just because I don't speak doesn't mean that I'm behind.


Just because I won't listen doesn't mean that I can't hear,

Just because I won't cry doesn't mean that I can't fear.


Just because I don't look the same
doesn't mean that I'm not real,

Just because I have a different life
doesn't mean that I can't feel.


Just because I feel trapped
doesn't mean that I'm not free,

Just because I don't feel right
doesn't mean that I'm not me.
