Scary Night

It was night and the lights were out,
the night was silent, the wolves didn't shout,
I was scared and couldn't sleeep,
so terrified i began to weep,
it was silent, not at all loud,
i'd rather be in a noisy crowd,
I was scared, my fear took control,
I saw a mouse run out of a hole,
I wanted this to end but I couldn't scream
for waking the others up seemed too mean,
so I held there tight and fell asleep,
hoping that's the way i would keep.
Later I woke up because I was told,
"Hurry up or your brekkie will be cold!"
So I rolled over to look at the time,
I was so relieved that I was fine.
