When I was little I wanted to dance,
When I grew up, I wanted to dance,
When I have the chance, I will dance, again.
Twirling and whirling everyday,
trying my best in every way,
I await my chance upon the stage, again.
The time had come to show the world
I pointed my toes and prepared to twirl.
Oh all my work has come to this?
My feet were hurting,
but I have known this pain.
It's because I'm dancing, ballet once again.
But I won't give up,
Because I see myself in the light, twirling and whirling again.
One day, I will dance and take to the stage again.
