Me, myself and I
by Jayme-Lee Fechner
They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
But I don’t like having my picture taken
‘is there food in my braces?’
Why did mum wash my little brother’s red top with the white tops?
now the face of Che Guevara looks like Spiderman,
and who would want to take a photo with Spiderman?
and lets face it no one likes spiders.
But back to the point,
I’ve explained my hatred towards photos,
but my hatred towards 1000 words is less complex.
I’ll just go the half way mark. 500 words.
Short and sweet.
No, I’m not going to start with‘I’m just your average teenage girl’
because simply.. I’m not.
Though I am what the skinny blondes would call a freak,
the gym junkies would classify me as someone who.. well never goes to the gym and the emos ironically gave me a top which said ‘cheer up emo kid’.
At least its nice to know they think of me as one of them.. I guess?
