The bodies of soldiers,
Bloodied and maimed,
Stacked up like boulders,
As the others aimed.

The bang of guns,
The boom of grenades.
Bodies, weighing tons,
Chopped up like blades.

Why do they fight,
All day,
All night,
When they
Are the ones who pay.
