I am Ben
I wonder where I'm going to be in ten years
I hear children running around having fun
I see darkness surrounded by light
I want death to leave

I pretend I can soar
I feel strength in God
I touch the wounded
I worry about life
I cry when I laugh too much

I understand life and death
I say God is real
I dream of life
I try to be the best I can
I hope I am
I am Ben
