Never forget the soft night skies
Ignore the way our short time flies
Dread the wait of inevitable goodbyes
For there comes a time when every being dies

Hold on to your burden of hope
Keep climbing that never-ending rope
Memorising our love, with ease you can cope
You are forbidden to linger on tragedy and mope

Fight back your tears, and smile through your pain
Think of warmth and wait out the rain
Never lose faith and extinguish the flame
Not ever does loss not bring gain
Each tick of each clock, I think of your name
