At a soft sandy beach,
called castle rock,
there stands a girl in a blue pretty frock.
Her dark face is solemn,
as she wriggles her toes in the sand.
Playing music with her pan-pipe
from a far-away land.
Her music is soft and gentle,
yet crazy and wild.
She wades in the cool calm ripples,
like an over-excited little child.
The songs she plays are warm,
and harmonises with the waves
THe notes bounce off the sandstone rocks,
like the echoes inside of caves.
On some days I don't see her.
On some days she's not there.
These are the days when the deep grey skies are hanging, low and bare.
