It was dawn, yet the sky was black
The color drained from all life forms
Tremendously tired trees were sheltering the young
The leaves were swirling with sadness
Books crying as they lost their stories
Elephants as scared as mice
Giraffes galloping madly
Thud, thud, trit, trot, thud, thud, trit
Dirty dogs dodging raindrops
And the ground was a garbage dump
Animals always waiting to wake up
Three tears come from the birds
As all the commotion is going on
A little girl dreams
She is a princes
She is a fairy
As beautiful as a flower
As happy as can be
She sings la-di-da la-la-la
Her rainbow dreams are enough to bring the world back to its original form
And it does.
