A Day Out

A Day Out
We’re jumping high hop, hop, hop,
My horse underneath with me on top,
While the wind catches our hair,
We pretend no one is there.
Where is the next, oh what to do?
I wish one of us had a clue,
Planks poles fences too,
Which one are you scared to do,
I’m not scared of any at all
Oh no! It’s a new jump I hope I don’t fall.
OOF I on the ground with a sprain
I get back on and face it again
I look at the jump then look at the crowd,
I hear them scream my name nice and loud,
Come on Tickles I say to her
I pat her gentle then stick in my spurs
We are cantering fast so very fast
There it is far in the past
We cleared it nice and nothing fell
We trot around with a victory smell
The victory smell was none other than sweat
I cuddle her neck dripping wet
I take her back to the stalls
Wash her hair with shampoo and all
I know this is I just know this is
The best day there is
Seventh not bad I don’t care
Because I have the best prettiest mare.
