Tell me mummy why do you cry?
I watch you every night
I tried to wipe your tears one time
and tell you everything's alright
But mummy you keep screaming
and Continue to shout my name
Why don't you see me Standing
Feeling all of your pain
Mummy why are you holding my picture
close, against your heart
Tell me mummy why do you drink
and spend all night in the dark
I tried to turn the light back on
But mummy I couldn't reach
You told me i'd grow big and strong
That day we spent at the beach
But mummy will you listen this time
If you hear my words tonight
I'll kiss your forehead like you did mine
and tell you that everything's alright
