You were always there by my side
And still here today
Now that you're in heaven
Your spirit lies within

Life can be a struggle
So many hills you've had to climb
I wish we had more time
To make a moment last

As the door awaits and then is opened
Tomorrow dawns a new day
And i know you'll be a part of me always

The pain has come, tomorrow there many be none
Now you're safe and sound
As the bight light comes
You say good-bye to the world that you've left behind
