Who would have thought that a year has finally come to an end,
With a brand new one that awaits us once again,
One that gives us another chance to start our lives again,
One that allows us to be able to bounce over old barriers,
And one that enables us to break those old bad habits,
As we live our life, every second...every minute,
All those past memories will always remain a part of us,
Those full of pleasure,those full of joy, and those full of love,
Nothing will ever be able to wipe away those splendid times,
So let's make sure that the up-lifting spirits of the New Year serves its purpose good,
And lets all of us celebrate a year that's now behind us,
And a year that is just beginning,
