Take A Ride On A Cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud Wondering if I would be found Floating through the dark night sky Slowly getting very high Trying to let go of the thoughts in mind Hoping to focus on the things I can see or find Right now up here so far No one telling you what to do or where you are Relaxed drifting along with the breeze No sound or someone whining please Alone not a soul in sight You see with the small light Coming from the sun Slowly going down as the day is done Sleeping on a cloud you don’t know or where you will be Crossing countries along the sea Sleeping next to big tall towers Then in the morning waking up amongst rows of flowers Until you find where you want to stay Where it makes you happy with lots of smiles For you’re finally here after many miles You forget about the sadness and the loss of hope Every time they called you a dope Forget about the nights of tears Getting rid of all your fears No more worries, no more troubles Replacing it with laughter and baths full of bubbles For you are where you belong where you can stay Unless you ever come across that day Once more When you feel like someone’s closed a door Take a ride on a cloud and if you’re lucky enough you might see How truly wonderful life can be
