VIOLETS (An Acrostic Poem)

Violets are purple,
Bluebells are blue,
Roses are sweet
And so is dew.

I run in the rain,
I sing in the sun.
Nothing, nothing
can’t be done.

On a rock
Or in water
With your son
Or with your daughter.

Love and friendship
Is the most precious
Thing in the world.

Everlastings are beautiful
But tulips are grown for you.

Turn off the light
And shut your eyes
And follow your heart to a prize

Sunflowers are yellow
Daffodils are orange
The world is made of
Wind and courage.
