Even though you’re right beside me
You are so far away
And for once, im at a complete loss
So ill just continue to watch you play
..Wondering if the magic will wear off
With the rising of the sun
Whether that fleeting moment will quickly fade
Without a fair chance to have begun
It was only the faintest whisper
I want to make out the words
But I don’t think I can be that brave
So this will probably remain unheard.
The dust seems to have affected
My common sense more than my sight
But I don’t have the strength to defy
The allure of the night
