Tale Of A Tiger

The tiger cub lived in a rocky den
only his mother and him
he wasnt allowed to wander too far
just down to the lake for a swim

His mother went out every day
to find them both a meal
while he stayed home and slept all day
it was a pretty good deal

One day the cub felt quite hungry
he went out to look for some food
journeyed farther than he'd ever been
he was in a curious mood

He looked at all the wildlife
chased colourful birds around
and just like he'd seen his mother do
he stayed close to the ground

The cub still hadnt caught any food
he was feeling hungry now
as much as he tried to catch something
the little cub didn't know how

Then suddenly in the far distance
his mother he could see
and hanging from his mothers mouth
was the hungry little cub's tea
