I am like a platelet in a dangerous blood clot
Pushing for freedom, for air and oxygen to breathe
I do not stand out and no one knows the gifts of Heaven I’ve received
When will my day come to be the sun amid the stars; the brightest star off all
Print my name in history books let my heart burn in glory
Sculpt a frozen version of me, with a smile that is roaring
Paint me on the tip of a mountain with a grin from ear to ear
Because that is where I will be when you look for me next year
I shall take a new vessel that leads me to my heart’s desires
I shall break free and there will be a riot
I shall be oxygenised and I will no longer feel so blue
I will reach the clouds of Heaven and I shall be with you
Perhaps I’ll be lonely, perhaps it will be quiet and I’ll feel cold from time to time
But if I keep those I trust near, the warmest days will stay with me
Until the end of time when I will cease to see
