Let Me Go

Here I stand, at the very bottom of serenity
I’ve tried and tried to leave this horror
But still I struggle to reach my full identity
I know I was born to be an explorer

Why I ask, why must I fight?
When will you release me?
I feel ready to leap for this flight!
So what is it that you foresee?

Life is devouring me and deceiving
I have the urge to let my insides jump out
Show the world, I’m all for believing!
My shoots are ready and set to sprout!

It appears to be so exceedingly effortless
Yet, I long for this fate of mine
I’m a pawn in a battle of chess
Let me go! let me climb this colourful vine
