2011
time was lost,
and pain was strong,
this is what it cost,
to get us to belong.
it was just a dare,
but you won the race,
swallow all your despair,
and slap it in the face.
grass is tall,
and trees have died,
just something small,
along for the ride.
see it in the rain,
embroidered on the glove.
but kill all the pain,
with all of my love.
