I walk the streets alone, I fight the night
I walk with the winged hearts, I laugh with the broken angels
I watch my reflection change, I watch my wings grow
I feel my heart pound harder
I float through the air as my feet leave the ground, as I take flight
I walk the streets alone. I fight the night
My eyes change. They are not the same
I used to think the night didn’t scare me. Now I am the night
I am changed. I am not the same anymore
I like this feeling
These wings. This heart. My angel.
My broken wounds
I am a flying hearted angel with broken wings
That is the only way I can explain this feeling
My magic. This thing called….?
I think it’s what we say is love
