Peace

Today let’s make the world peaceful
Silent, forgiving and strong
If we all pitch in together,
I know it can’t take very long

There are worldwide wars and there’s bullying
What about petty disagreements and fights
I can see from all our actions
That broken is our innocence lights

Today I wish the world would be
Sympathetic, understanding and kind
Listening to what others have to say,
What just happens to be on their mind.

I think if the world could do this,
To free us all from our sorrow
It would make our planet a better place
And grant a better tomorrow.
