Jesus, Jesus He died
for us
So on the day
I run
out
to the yard
with thrust.

because on
this day
The angels move the rock
and I'm outside
looking under my brothers
toy blocks.

I'm bouncing and
bouncing
and then I hear
hopping.
I look down the
side of the shed
and see the
Easter Bunny6!

He gives me a wink
and a tip of his ear
He magically
disappears.

I look down below me
I see a bible reminding
me
Of what happened
on the hill
on the cross
on Calvary.
