The great despair
The shock like a punch to the gut
The anger, the rage, as you blame yourself
as the burial of someone close goes by
The feeling of it being a terrible nightmare,
you just want to wake up
You don't know if your heart can take any more
Seasons go by with that feeling that a part of you is missing
The pain starts to lift as you find another special person
who starts to fill in that gap with happiness
but there is always still a feeling of sadness in your heart,
like a tattoo
