I woke up one morning, pretty grumpy,
Then ran downstairs, late and hungry.
Looked in the pantry, where was the cereal?
I looked in again, this is not beneficial.
Ran up to mum, and cried to her face,
“Mum, Mum, the cereal’s misplaced!”
Mum replied “oh no, oh no,
We must rush to the shops, before we go!
We all jumped in the car, quick but sleepy,
This is not good, mum’s hair was beachy.
We felt like sleepy fools in the car,
We looked like the craziest family by far.
We tumbled to the shops, in a mess,
And ran into Coles, with gratefulness.
Grabbing the cereal, we went back home,
And I swallowed my breakfast all alone.
