One day I’ll climb a mountain,
One day I’ll be a queen.
One day I’ll get a laptop,
One day I will be seen.
One day I’ll become famous,
One day I’ll be an explorer.
One day I’ll be a millionaire.
One day I’ll be a professor.
I wish I didn’t starve from hunger,
I wish I had clean water to drink.
I wish I wasn’t scared of hyenas,
I wish that I just didn’t have to think.
I wish that I could have a room to myself,
I wish I could have a roof over my head.
I wish I could sleep peacefully,
I wish I could have a nice, cosy bead.
I have a nice life but half way across the globe,
Is a child suffering from poverty.
They are weak, and sick.
However, all we care about is that new novelty.
